There are several articles on Mr. Arnhold, but one, in the Jerome Mining News, Aug. 14, 1899 mentions him having a 'bricked-up vault in the Citizens Cemetery in East Prescott and of him having slept nightly in a large coffin.'

Note: Mr. Arnhold is NOT buried here but he did construct this brick structure over a buried vault in abt. 1885 in preparation for his own demise. He later offered it for sale, to no avail, as he was moving to Tempe. Later he moved to Phoenix and then later in life to San Francisco where he died. No actual place of burial has been found. Oct. 4, 2018, jb.

As far as can be determined there is no one actually buried in the vault.
