Henry Cowell was born in 1852, just before the American Civil War. Henry was the first mayor of an 11.5 square mile town in Arizona, that town was named Wickenburg. The small town was given it's name after a German pioneer, named Henry Wickenburg. Henry dided at the age of 80 years old, in the year 1928.
