The flag of the fire department is at half-mast out of respect to the memory of George M. Johnson who died yesterday at two o'clock in the morning at the home of his father on East Congress Street. The deceased had been ill for several weeks. He was aged 36 years, birthplace California. With his father, he had lived in Tucson for 20 years. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow from Millar's parlors. The fire department will attend.

All members of the Tucson Volunteer Fire Department are requested to meet at the Fire Hall at 1:30 p. m., Sunday, January 14, 1900, to attend the funeral of Geo. M. Johnson, honorary member of the department.
