Celia Braylock Earp is what is written in the metal adornment on the grave.
Celia, "Mattie" died in the now ghost town of Pinal and is buried in the old abandoned cemetery high in the hills above the town of Superior.
Filed in the early death records in Pinal Co. it reads, Earp, Mattie, age 40, female, reported by Dr. T.H. Kinnaird, place of death Pinal, 3 July 1888.
Mattie was born in 1848 in Fairfax, Linn Co., IA
