It is a possibility that Samuel Todd is also buried in the Hardyville Pioneer Cemetery. Todd was a resident of Hardyville and was well known as a founder of Mohave City. When that City was closed down, he moved to Hardyville in May, 1871, and opened a store, the largest in the territory. When fire destroyed Hardyville, he and Hardy lost $150,000 due to lack of insurance. Todd rebuilt but died shortly thereafter on Februcary 24, 1873.
