Mal was born Malcom Wayne Eason
March 13, 1871 in Brookville, Pennsylvania
He died April 16, 1970 in Douglas, Arizona
His parents were David & Mary Eason

Mal was in the Baseball Major Leagues in his youth.
He began his Major League baseball career On Oct. 1, 1900
The 22 year-old played for 6 seasons on 5 different teams
and ended his big league playing career in 1906.

His nick name was "Kid" during his baseball years

Mal played with the Chicago Orphans, Boston Beaneaters,
Detroit Tigers, Brooklyn Superbas.
The Superbas became the Brooklyn Dodgers

On July 20, 1906 while pitching for Brooklyn, Mal
pitched a no hitter against the St. Louis Cardnals.

After being a player he became a National League Umpire

Mal lived his later years in Canelo, Arizona
where he was a cattle rancher.
