Ygnacio came from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He donated land for the Wickenburg Elementary School (Little Red School House), St. Anthony's Catholic Church and gave land for the Old Catholic Cemetery now known as Garcia Cemetery. He was one of the pioneer families that started Wickenburg.
