"William Ferris Sr., 93, of Apache Junction Arizona, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2003. Services to be held at a later date. Arrangements by Mountain View Mortuary Chapel."

"Elizabeth Betty D. Ferris peacefully passed away on April 1, 2009, in her home of 38 years at the age of 95 and in the presence of family. Betty was born in Boston, MA where she met and married William Ferris who predeceased her in death in 2003 after 72 years of marriage. They had three children all who survive her: William Donna Ferris, Patricia Charles Luebbers, and James Jane Ferris; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Betty's sister Gerry Patz along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive her. Grandson William Luebbers predeceased her in 2005. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on April 18, at 1p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St., Mesa. A reception will follow at 2p.m. at the Apache Villa Rec Center, 1235 S. Ocotillo, in Apache Junction. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice Family Care, 1550 S. Alma School Rd, $102, Mesa, AZ 85210. Sign the Guest Book at eastvalleytribune.com "
