GMM3 US Navy - Persian Gulf
Larry served as a Gunner's Mate Missiles in the Navy from 1988 to 1992, mostly spent on the USS Merrill. During his tour of service, he served in Persian Gulf War and received an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal; Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Star; Good Conduct Medal; Joint Meritorious Unit Award; and Navy Unit Commendation.
