Margaret (Enlow) Meadows
Born 1831 in Crawford County, Arkansas
Died 1884
Margaret married John Meadows in Crawford County, Arkansas and settled in Arizona in 1877. Margaret and John raised a colorful family.
Their sixth son was the Old West legend "Arizona" Charley Meadows.
The last son was one of the all-time great trick riders, "Kid" Meadows.
Another son, Henry, died of the wounds he suffered in a battle with a band of renegade Indians that attacked their home.
Her husband John was killed in that same battle and is buried next to her.
Henry is buried beside them.
Also buried in their family plot is a baby granddaughter.
