Mrs. Harvetta McBride passed away February 7, 2000 at the Southeast Arizona
Medical Center.

Mrs. McBride was born April 1, 1919 in Pima, Arizona. She was the oldest of four children growing up in the Gila Valley.
She attended grade school and graduated from high school in Pima.

She married George D. McBride on Valentines day in 1939. Early in their marriage, George and Harvy lived in Bisbee where George was a miner. They started ranch life together in 1939 and lived on several ranches over the years. The IV
Bar Ranch was home for 43 years from 1945 to 1988. Here, Harvy was the true partner. The house and the kitchen were
her domain; keeping those cowboys fed and raising her family. Harvy and George retired in 1988 and went to live at Little Oaks Ranch in Price Canyon.

Harvetta is survived by her husband, George D. McBride of Price Canyon. Her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Pam
McBride of Rucker Canyon; two grandsons Ty McBride of Cody, Wyoming and Troy McBride of Atoka, Oklahoma; two
great-grandsons Morgan and Nicholas McBride; sisters, Jean Lofgreen and Sally Kight; brother Mayo Follett.
